Welcome back to the charter podcast, brought to you by St. Xavier University.

I'm Ruthie Polinsky, back with Clay Harbor. We are coming to you from all different parts of the country today.

So I appreciate Clay waking up early with me as I am in New York. Clay is in Chicago, and we have a schedule, my friend.

I'm excited about it. I think we dive right into it. This is fun, right? When you get the schedule, it feels like it's real. We're doing this again. Another season. It's coming your way. And now you sort of start to get a picture of what it's going to look like.

What are the matchups?

What are the long stretches?

And then, of course, you get to look at how many games will the world be watching?

And the Bears have a massive number of seven games that will be, you know, what are the stand-alone games?

They're not necessarily all prime time, I would say,

but they're standalone. Seven standalone windows, Ruthie. Amazing. That's massive. And that's a good thing, Bears fans. That's a good thing for you to know that the world wants to watch your team.

That means they're good. That means they're exciting. And that's exactly what we got a taste of last year

that caught everyone a little bit by surprise,

I think, or at least on a national level.

Now everyone wants to watch the Bears.

And that is awesome for this team, for your team,

for the fan base.

And maybe not so good for people that have to work

and cover the games late at night. We like a Sunday noon kickoff every once in a while. But, no, this is going to be fun. The lights are bright and it's going to be a blast. I'm sure people are already circling their calendars, taking a look at which games they maybe want to travel to, which games they want to try and get to Soldier Field for. And then, of course, the games that you just want to sit on your couch and enjoy in your peace and quiet. Clay, I don't think we need to run through the schedule, right? Everyone sort of has that in front of them at this point. Yeah. I think let's start, though, from week one. And just I think we all sort of anticipated anticipated we all kind of thought that it was going to be the Bears in Seattle to open the season. So that was sort of the one that took me by surprise. I was like, oh, we're talking about the Bears. They're going to have all these prime time games. It's going to be huge. People on ESPN. People are speculating. The Bears are going to have that first game at Seattle, Wednesday night. the Seahawks raised the banner. Nope.
