A new National Guard force to react to incidents of civil unrest is allegedly being considered.

The Washington Post alleges that unreleased internal Pentagon documents propose a new domestic

civil disturbance quick reaction force. And meanwhile, on the point of crime in Washington, D.C.,

there's pushback against Trump's actions,

and a lot of this is alleging that crime is not as bad as he says it is.

The response from conservatives, though, has been that these statistics on crime were being manipulated.

And this goes back to recent reports from July 18th,

which saw the local police commander actually get suspended for allegedly

messing with the crime stats. And alongside this also, ICE is about to get supercharged. The agency

has just launched a new recruitment drive, and they've gotten more than 100,000 applicants.

And this appears to follow the model he's using already in other areas,

like the one he used to put down the riots in Los Angeles,
