We're all hanging out here as Auburn holds on that night.

Then it was a little scary, got a little hairy there.

But Auburn holds on to win three to one in a game where Auburn felt like they were in control

until really that ninth inning.

But once again, it comes down to Auburn having elite, elite pitching.

Christian, what did you see from the pitching staff tonight? Yeah, that's exactly my main takeaway is

LSU didn't have a bad pitching night. Auburn just pitched a lot better. Auburn just had a gem

on the mound. Marciano was excellent. Six innings pitched. I mean, you've got them with four strikeouts. 86 pitches. I'm surprised they actually went to 86. I thought there was a report of him going to 70, 75, but he was hot. You had to keep him going. And then Jackson, Sanchez continued it as well. I thought that he was going to be cruising so fast in this one that maybe you could think about using him again later this weekend. But I think he's set for the SEC tournament. But man, this pitching staff looked really good, getting LSU that, or getting Auburn that went against LSU. Lindsey, you got it. Lindsay, that stack of Marciano and Sanders.

I mean, it's one of the best in the country.

It's probably the best in the SEC.

And we saw more of it tonight.

Yeah.

This has been the strategy for Auburn all season, right?

It's go ahead and get your, like, get through the game without having to go to your main leverage bullpen

arms and there's everybody else in the tournament for the most part has had to go to those guys
