It's amazing.

We wait so long for the drafts and then it's just over.

Yes, that works.

There's a lot of build up and then, yeah. But next year's is right around the corner. Not really. We got a long time before then. We do have a lot to talk about today. This is the Eagle Eye podcast brought to you by Nissan, Ruben Frank, and Dave Zangaro. It is always striking to me, though, because, like, the lead up to the draft is a lot.

And we talk about all these players, and then most of them don't end up here.

It's, like, a good base for knowing the rest of the league, but it is funny. How much time do we spend talking about Maxi Hanachor and Blake Miller and...

I'd wake up in the middle of the night and having nightmares about Peter Woods.

And all those guys are on different teams now.

Yeah.

Well, you can imagine how the scouts feel who spent so much time evaluating these guys, interviewing them, watching tape, talking to their teammates, their coaches, their family, and then they're on another team.

That's got to be a tough life, especially if you're like the Northeast Area Scout.

There aren't a ton of programs that are really churning out compared to,

you know, West Coast or certainly this area, like the Southeast is a big one with Alabama and Georgia.

Well, you got, you know, you got your Rutgers. You got your FDU. They have a football team, Dickinson. Yeah. But it's got to be tough when none of your guys get drafted by the team you work for. Got your Yukon. I saw a list of schools that didn't have any. Wisconsin had nobody drafted for the first time in like 50 years. Crazy. Now, the one thing is drafted out of Nigeria that Wisconsin.

I guess with now, though, with like how many kids are transferring, though,

like you might be a touch point on the first leg of a player's career, though,

which is important too.

Yeah, it could be.

So maybe you're still involved.

I wonder how many of the 32 guys drafted in the first round spent their whole college

career at one school.

It'd be interesting.
