Well, today we got some hands-on previews for Mario Kart World and Welcome Tour and the startling confirmation that there is no Nintendo Switch to reviews ahead of launch.

So we're going to dig into all of that here, talk about everything, talk about anything that we found to be interesting in these previews and just get into like what the heck is happening at Nintendo around these reviews.

Yeah, maybe this would have been a bigger deal if it was not literally two days before the system comes out.

And yeah, that was something that had trickled out a few weeks ago of like,

oh, maybe people are not getting early access to these consoles like they did in the past.

And I think we were still holding hope at hope that some of the really big outlets,

they would find some solution to do it because it seems like Nintendo is pinning a lot of this

on the need for this day one patch.

But yeah, coming out today, we've learned there's nothing.

And Nintendo held an event last week where people could get hands on with the system,

get hands on with Mario Kart and Welcome Tour.

But that's it.

That's it.

And these are not reviews either.

These are previews.

So you don't get any sort of scores for these games.

Obviously, you're not getting a score for the console at all.

Nobody has the console until, you know, launch day.

And, yeah, a Nintendo spokesperson did come out and confirm that there are important features

and updates that is only available via the system update on the console's day one release. So

they didn't want people, I guess, to have the console or review without these important

features and updates. I don't know what these are.
