Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. We grew up singing those

beautiful words, and they are based on a tremendous truth we

find in Mark chapter 10 where the Bible says in verse 13 and they brought young children to him

that he should touch them and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw

it, he was much displeased and said unto them, suffer the little children to come into me.

And forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive

the kingdom of God as a little child. He shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms,

put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Oh, what a rich, precious passage of Scripture this is.

You see, this passage not only reveals God's heart for the children, it reveals God's

heart for all people.

As a matter of fact, the simplicity and the sincerity of childhood is a window, a window into God's truth, a window into God's way.

They bring young children to him, and Jesus was so happy to see the young children.

You know, you can tell a lot about the tenderness of a person's heart by their attitude towards children.

You can also learn something about the hardness and indifference

of people's heart by how they think and treat young children. And these disciples, they thought

Jesus was much too busy to be troubled with the children. It was the famous evangelist D.L. Moody

that said if he had his whole life to live over again, he would give it all to working with children.
