Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Stephen King cast, One Man's Musings on the Works of Stephen King.

Each week I'll review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King in the chronological order of publication, and this week I examine Stephen King's 1990s entry in short stories, 1993's, nightmares and dreamscapes.

Each decade, King releases a short story collection, the first being 1978's night shift,

followed by 1985's skeleton crew. Later, he'll continue this tradition with 2002's Everything's

eventual, 2008's just after sunset

and this November King will release

his sixth short story collection

the Bazaar of Bad Dreams

which I don't want to get too head of myself

but I probably will review upon publication

let's just see how many reviews I'm able

to get under my belt until then. I'm kind of on a roll

I want to get through as many as possible, so I give myself a long lead time with a lot of episodes in the can.

Anyway, back to nightmares and dreamscapes.

This collection is a touchstone for me because this was the first, the first Stephen King publication that was

published after I had become a constant reader.

I remember seeing the magazine advertisements for it with the image that I still consider

to be Stephen King's best cover.
