Briell Decker grew up in a Fundamentalist Mormon sect (FLDS) in a family with 14 children and two mothers. At age 18 she became the 65th wife of the Prophet Warren Jeffs. After years of abuse and torment from Jeffs and his followers Briell escaped by climbing out of a window and running barefoot to safety. After escaping the FLDS, she applied and was granted Warren Jeffs 28,000 sq foot home in Colorado City, AZ where she once lived as a wife. Partnering with the Phoenix Dream Center, that home has now been remodeled and restored to serve as a place of hope and refuge for other women and children leaving the FLDS. Briell has dramatically rewritten her script from cult victim to advocate and now a Certified Peer Support Specialist at the Short Creek Dream Center. She is happily married to the love of her life, Stevan, and lives in Hildale, UT. She is transformed! She is an Activist and currently working with members of the Utah Legislature to create better policies to help victims of cults and human trafficking. She is happy, healthy, and saving hundreds of women and children through her Dream Center. 1:34.9	darkest part of it was he said if you agree then say yes and we're like yes. He's like, well if you don't agree then say yes.
1:42.4	We're like, ever just was quiet and he's like okay so now you said you agree if you really do I want you to show me and I was like that's like you know really bad because like the thing is is in a prayer if you say
1:54.9	amen technically that's supposed to mean that you agree but everybody says
1:59.4	amen so I was like what am I supposed to do now?
2:03.2	You know so I just kept going but yeah.
2:05.8	So when he was arrested were they trying to charge you as well?
2:09.6	This is the government.
2:11.6	No, he was they were trying to charge him but he told us they were trying to charge us. Oh he told you that but you so you weren't made aware by law
2:19.6	enforcement that you're an accomplice to they're coming out. We didn't know anything about law because we were born and raised in this.
2:25.5	So he told us he was about the law. We should only listen to him. So when you grow up in that faith,
2:30.8	you know, and I'm sorry to sound so ignorant about it, but I know nothing about it.
