Jeff, there is a ton going on in baseball. How are you tonight? I'm doing well. I'd be doing better if I would have won Robbie Ray anywhere, but so it goes. I did not in any of my

leads. Yeah, it was a, we'll get when we'll talk about fab here in second, but it was a massive

Fab. There's a there's a couple of really big names available, a lot of spending going on. We've

talked about in last few weeks how a lot of people have more money than they usually do. There's been a couple studies that show like average team has like $90 to $100 more than they did this point last year. So it was a lot of people had money and they spent it tonight. So we will definitely hit that. But you're not talking a little bit before we started. Crazy how many trades there have been. And a lot of them with fantasy impact too. I mean, And usually we get a flurry of action, you know, one or two days before the deadline, but five, three, four, or five days before we have a bunch of trades this week. And there's a lot of action before the deadline even hit this year. Yeah, there was. And Joe Sheehan wrote that. Of course, he did. He writes about everything that is pertinent and interesting. But, um, and you know, he documented that, yeah, it's a lot more than, uh, what is usual this in

previous years and not quite sure why, um, except for maybe the, you know, the notion that there

aren't that many sellers. So teams are trying to get ahead of it and just, you know, not waiting so they don't miss out on a Randy or Rose Arena, don't miss out on a jazz chisholm. I don't know. It's interesting to see these teams that are sellers actually accepting it. I mean, they must be getting what they want. And it seems like I'm not the biggest prospect guy. It seems like some of these reliever deals. The prospect guys were surprised by how much the relievers bought back. Some legit prospects coming back for, you know, kind of, you know, middle reliever setup type guys. Yeah. The Estevis deal in particular seems like that was one that the Phillies paid up for them, especially because they traded away a reliever earlier in Sir Anthony Dominguez.

So, you know, I thought that was kind of interesting that, you know, they had depth. That wasn't a problem for them. But we'll talk about that particular trade in a second there, but what I think is going to happen. But I thought that was a very interesting deal there. I did. I felt like the AJ Puck deal, too, with that. I was a prospect that everybody was pretty excited about.

It was Dave Eisen to everybody was, was pretty excited about.

It was Dave Eisen de Lissento. So it seems like, you know, we've had years where the relievers don't get dealt because they're just not getting enough back, but it feels like there's teams really, really need relief pitchers right now, and they're, they're paying for them. Yeah, Jimmy Garcia also, uh, withcia also uh with a pretty decent size return so yeah um yeah and you know i just noticed that jason adam deal today that was one

that it alluded my attention earlier there um that's another another another reliever going uh i'm

assuming that we'll see fairbanks go at some point, too,

just because everybody else seems to be going. But yeah, you know, there's a lot of trades so

far. And I love to see it. Let's jump right in and talk about these trades from a fancy aspect.

Obviously, you play in an NL or AOL only league, these trades become massively important as guys switch leagues. But even in, you know, regular leagues, redraft leagues, leagues, leagues with FAB, whatever may be. I mean, these are impacting impact deals here. The bigger one today, jazz Chisholm moving to the Yankees, I guess it was yesterday because he played tonight. Big move for the Yankees, adding Jazz Chisholm, sound like he's going to play kind of all over the diamond.

He played center field tonight.

Aaron Boone was quoted saying they're going to try him out at third base. They really need a third baseman, you know, obviously. Glaber has not been good, but, you know, I think they probably would like, ideally, you know, jazz plays and Glaber kind of picks it up. You want both those guys to line up. But how do you feel about jazz moving to Yankee Stadium?

I like it if he displaces DJ LeMayhew, whether LeMayu is at third or at second is immaterial to me. I should say, whether it's, I'm sorry, let me rephrase it. As long as Torres stays in the lineup in Torres, play second or third,, it's immaterial. But they got to replace Lemayhew and not Glaver Torres. He's actually heated up lately. Honestly, I don't think Chisholm is that much better than Glaber Torres. So that's why I feel strongly about that. Granted, this helps. I think getting out of Miami will help jazz, but you're talking about a player in Torres who's having his all-time worst season, and it's still within 30 points of OPS for what Jazz Chisholm is doing this year. So that's what I think. The other thing, though, is, you know, Gliber Torres is going to be a free agent after this year. So there is some succession planning coming on here. Chisholm will eventually be able to play a second base or eventually play center field. I don't think they want, you know, Aaron, Aaron Judge to play that much center. But this year, he still may have to, especially with Stanton coming back this week, too. Yeah, Stanton coming back is obviously big for them.
