Dalton Wasserman. We are going to be breaking down the Baltimore Ravens 35-34 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night football

game that very much lived up to the hype

started out a little bit slow but we all got the points that we expected

in the second half particularly in the fourth quarter

and I'm going to jump right in with my stat that told the story of the game

and it was Lamar Jackson in the second half of this

game. It goes 15 for 19, 219 yards, three passing touchdowns, has one turnover where they play

in there, but just overall a tremendous second half of the game for him. And in particular in

here this also had what I'm going to call

probably the greatest 10-yard scramble I've ever seen in my life.

Second and nine from the Bengals 10, he drops back to pass.

There's nothing open.

The pass rush is getting free, he drops back even further.

And all of a sudden now, for like a play that started at the Bengals 11-yard line,

he's at their 31 yard line.

So at this point he needs to gain 20 to even get back to the point where he's avoiding the sack.

He beats the first defender, gets a nice block from Tyler Linderbaum, cuts around Jermaine Pratt, dances the one yard line.

I think it's crazy to say this in, you know, it sounds crazy to say this anyway. This is a guy who was one vote away from being a unanimous MVP for the second time in his career last year. And I think this is the best version of Lamar Jackson we have ever seen. Just a special, special football player.

Yeah, I absolutely agree. I mean, I think you make a great point about the second

half because this game, the Bengals had controlled it and then Chase Brown fumbled and all hell

broke loose. And honestly, we've seen with Lamar too many times in his career when all hell
