Buck, have you recovered a little bit from the frenzy, from the free agency frenzy?

DJ is so banana. There's so much stuff that's going on that you don't even know. And when you think about like being on the shows and talking about things as they're going, you look up like today and you're like, oh, man, I didn't even know these guys that go into some of these places because there's a flurry of activity that you just can't keep up with. Yeah, you miss it as you're going through it. We haven't had a chance to get together and talk about the Max Crosby thing since that went down and then didn't go down. You're hot boy. Crazy. Just crazy because, like, having been in the league for so long, long like you kind of know a physical is a

wink and a knot yeah we like him pass him through or whatever because at this time when you've

been six seven years in the league everyone has some kind of ailment that you're dealing with yeah

he's come i mean it was known what his injury was and what he was coming off and he's coming off

of surgery so i just think it's a little disingenuous to say, oh,

none of the medical people flagged him and those things. Like, it was what it was, particularly

because the signing of Matt Trey Hendrickson came so shortly after that. It just doesn't look good.

It feels funny. But I mean, look, man, that's the thing about the tampering period that we have.

It's unfortunate that we have these things where we're talking about it like is a done deal

because it always can go around. We just learned another hard lesson when we saw the Baltimore

Ravens back out. What are your thoughts? Yeah, I'll tell you what, I had a lot of phone calls

from teams and agents. And I'm still waiting for the first one that thought it was all good. I mean, it was just like, there are a lot of people who are like, that's just not how you do business, man. Like, that's not, not cool. And look, I'm always of the opinion of, I remember when being in the draft room back in the day and we'd always say,

hey, scout, scout, coach is coach. We let the doctor's doctor. Like, I'm not, I'm not going to

pretend, you know, that I have all that information and we can say it's usually a wink and a nod,

but maybe it was just something so far beyond expectation that they just couldn't go forward

with it. I just know that there's definitely a feeling around the league that that is not what it was.
