And today we're talking ratcheting up your risk tolerance with Alison Shreger.

That's right, Alison Shreger. She's joining us today on the podcast and I'm not sure if there's anyone else out there who who thinks and who writes and talks about risk.

Anymore than Alison does. She's an economist. She's a senior fellow there at the Manhattan Institute, a columnist at Bloomberg opinion and a co founder of Lifecycle Finance Partners, which is a risk advisory firm.

Alison has a varied career from working in finance with policy and media with her byline often appearing in many different publications like the economist and wired.

And she's also written a book an economist walks into a brothel and other unexpected places to understand risk that we're going to dive into.

And we want to discuss what risk what it looks like in a world today. How it is that we should be interpreting that risk as individuals as investors and whether or not we should be exposing ourselves to more risk.

So Alison, thank you so much for joining us today.
