Today is Tuesday, September the 23rd. Now, technically, some of y'all might have planned to listen to this podcast episode,

but if you've been paying attention to the social media spaces, you might have been raptured because somebody said the rapture was supposed to be today. Now, I'm still here as at the time of this recording, so either I did not get the memo and I have been excommunicated from the Lamb's Book of Life or somebody was being a charlatan and they know the day nor the hour when the rapture was coming,

which we kind of already knew because technically the Bible says,

don't know man, know the day, nor the hour.

Now, if you are listening to this and you don't know what the hell I'm talking about,

let me just feel you in.

There is this concept within some parts of Christendom that basically says that at a certain point on a day and time which no man knows that Jesus is going to come back and rapture up the church.

Now what that means is that everybody that's done already died and everybody that's still alive is going to get brought up and caught up in the air with the good Lord Jesus.

He going to take him on into heaven while there is death and destruction and tribulations for seven years here on the planet Earth. And then after that seven years, Jesus will come back to the planet Earth. And I'm pretty sure it's only the planet Earth. I don't know if the Bible's jurisdiction extends beyond this particular planet. But basically, that's something that a lot of Christians believe is going to happen. And so they all thought, not all of them, not even half of them, a significant portion of them on social media. And so much so that we saw videos of like Uber drivers talking about how they were giving somebody a ride and this white couple was in their car and the white couple said, well, you know, the rapture's coming on Tuesday. And well, since you're not going to make it, and I guess he wasn't going to make it because of the blackness,

but basically they gave that man almost $2,000 in cash

because they said they wasn't going to need the money no more

because they was getting raptured.

So if any of you out there are a part of the rapture group

and you got disposable assets that you know you ain't going to need
