We're back. Time for another edition of the Carolina Insider. It's a rapid reaction emergency pod edition after the Diamond Heels win game one in Omaha, Carolina defeats Ole Miss 6-2.

Carolina scoring all six of its runs in its final three offensive opportunities in the sixth inning, seventh inning, and eighth inning to pull away from the rebels and move on in the

winners bracket. Carolina will face West Virginia on Sunday evening at 7 o'clock. The

Mountaineers beat Troy earlier 7 to 5. I'm here in Chapel Hill. Adam is in Omaha. Was that the game?

And Adam, this was two good teams, two really good starting pitchers.

And Carolina, when the two teams went to the bullpen,

the Tarils were able to take advantage and break through.

And this was kind of what we have seen from Carolina all season long,

where it isn't just one thing that got you this win.

It was a lot of different pieces that won this game for the heels.

Yeah, what a representative win for Carolina.

You got really good pitching.ason de caro was great again

kaden glower was great again you had some really you weren't scoring runs but you were having

really good at bats that worked the old miss pitchers and eventually got you into the bullpen

where then you had some big at-bats

up and down the order and a little the one uncharacteristic thing you found a way to hit it out twice

on a day when it was hard to hit it out tarials were able to do it and just a complete win over a good team

Adam really big production at the bottom of the order for Carolina.

We'll start offensively, even though I think pitching was obviously a huge part of this as well.

But Tyler Howe with a couple of hits.

He and Nicholson also did a good job drawing some walks to get on base.
