We're back time for another edition of the Carolina Insider.

Jones and Adam here with you for another rapid reactions edition of the show after Carolina gets the 5-2 win over West Virginia to move to 2-0 in Omaha.

Tario is now in terrific position to now wait.

Wait until Wednesday.

West Virginia and Troy have to play one another on Tuesday afternoon, I believe, and then the winner of that game

will see Carolina on Wednesday. I'm here in Chapel Hill. Adam is in Omaha. Was that the game?

If you watched on TV, you all saw Adam at the game up there hobnobbing with all the heavy hitters.

Adam, this was just very similar, I think, to the game on Friday,

just kind of like a professional win for Carolina.

You know, sometimes in college baseball, you see the games where it's, you know,

13 to 12 and there's crazy stuff happening all over the place.

This was two teams that I think played pretty good baseball.

And when one of them opened the door a little with a couple of miscus,

that being West Virginia in the seventh inning,

Carolina took advantage and Gavin Gallowher with a big swing of the bat.

And they took advantage of that small opening and that ended up being the difference. So just a really surgical type of performance from

Carolina where it needed to play well because West Virginia is a good and B played well as well.

The margin for error is just so slim at this time of year, and that's what has made it so

frustrating for Carolina over certain times in their Omaha experience, and that's what

made it so positive tonight.

I mean, yes, West Virginia, which came in the best fielding team into Big 12, did make a couple errors
