I've got a late game edition, some breaking news under Notre Dame baseball that we'll get to here in a few minutes.

But I'm going to start with this.

During his session with the media last week, Marcus Freeman asked about the importance of having a presence in Los Angeles

and how that could impact Notre Dame's recruiting in the future if the USC series does not continue.

We're such a national brand, right? And we recruit coast to coast, but we've done a really good

job in the state of California, the West Coast.

Like, but more than that, just all of West Coast, Hawaii, you're talking about Hawaii, California,

I mean, why don't mean, keep going, right?

It's important that they understand that, you know, we sell, I think more than that, we sell, we play coastal coast.

We play from New York to California, right?

We go to Florida this year, we're in Texas.

Like, that's what Notre Dame does.

And to eliminate that, it really wouldn't be beneficial for a home.

I don't know.

I might miss out on that Wyoming presence, I guess.

So what does that say to you, Vince, about Notre Dame having a Southern California presence

potentially going forward pending what happens with this USC series?

Well, to be honest with you, I don't think it's Southern California specifically that he

wants to maintain.
