I mean, welcome back to another edition of the Irish Breakdown podcast. It is Monday. It is R.T.C.F. Time. That's my man, Sean,

I'm Brian Driscoll, and we are here to talk a little bit of Notre Dame football. Sean got some fun topics today, man.

We had a little bit of a hard time kind of settling it down.

So many different college football related topics we want to discuss some Notre Dame

related topics, which is good news because that means we'll have plenty to talk about

the rest of the summer.

But today, Sean, we settled in on three topics in our TCF show, our recruiting topic.

That's where the R comes from.

We're going to talk about Notre Dame's linebacker recruiting as we continue our sort of

state of the program recruiting breakdown of the Notre Dame team.

And we're going to look at this in a little bit of a different angle than we will other

positions because I think this is the one position that I think is still the most

undervalued nationally in regard to how

well Notre Dame has recruited this position out of high school. Our team topic, that's the T in

RTCF, is going to look at one of the early questions that you and I had this offseason. And I don't

remember, Sean, if it was an RTCF show or was it just you and I doing a

normal show? We said, can Notre Dame stay hungry after the season they had? Because not every

team does. Some teams have success and then they kind of fade back. Other teams are hungry and they

got there and take it to another level the next year. And we're going to address where we think that is right now and some things that we've

seen this off season and heard from Marcus Freeman in our interview with him last week.

That makes us think that they recognize the need to really stay hungry and that they are.
