What's going on everyone? Kevin from Epic Gardening here. Today I'm going to answer a couple

rapid-fire questions that I've got on Instagram. And so this is kind of a schmorgasborg

episode with a little bit of personal questions I got and some gardening

questions as well because I threw up a little post on Instagram asking four questions for

the podcast and it was my birthday yesterday so I got a couple questions about myself as well.

So let's go ahead and answer these.

The first one is from Alexa, so she says,

how long have you been gardening?

Well, it's kind of interesting I've grown

plants I would say for about eight years or so but it really depends on the year

some years I grew a lot less than I do in other years.

When I had a community garden plot, I was growing quite a bit.

That was a very, very productive year.

And when I was traveling a bit more, and I had a full-time job,

I definitely wasn't growing as much because you

know just wasn't around in a single spot long enough to continue to maintain a

garden but I've been growing plants on and off for eight years and much, much more on in the last two.

Where do you reside to have so much sun? Well, I think anyone who's a regular

podcast listener would know I live in San Diego, so that's zone 10B, which is pretty close to one of the warmest zones in the United States.

I want to say that growers in Hawaii have a higher growing zone than I do, but I'm actually

not sure on that. All I know is that I'm in quite a hot zone and I don't have a true winter. I have a
