I am Brian Nemhouser and today.

Today we are going to talk about the tight end position for the NFC West.

This is a position that is increasingly deciding whether teams are going to be good, bad, or somewhere in between.

And that is certainly going to be the case for your Seattle Seahawks who are moving to an offense with Clint Kubiak that features the tight end position much more than the offenses the Seahawks have

run the past few years. In fact, it's a offense that doesn't just use one tight end in most

cases. It often is using two tight ends on the field at the same time and can be an offense that

makes the tight end a primary pass catcher,

which is very different than what we've seen in the past.

So excited to get into the whole tight end position,

not just for the Seahawks, but every team in the NFC West.

And we're going to rank them.

Not only we're going to rank them based off of what I believe is the best in

the NFC West, but we're also going to look at what other third parties have said about the NFC

West tight ends. That includes Mike Clay's positional rankings from ESPN. We'll look at PFF. And I have

not looked at those yet.

So I don't know what their rankings are.

I'm going to do this site unseen and just give you my, I would say unbiased, but I'm

certainly biased, but my perspective on what the NFC West looks like from that particular

position.
