We're on the island, we're at the beach, we're with the crabs. How you feeling? Are you excited?

How did last night feel for you?

I'm excited to talk about this with you in general just because I know what was it last season?

Was your first paradise?

Last season was my first paradise. I took, I didn't do my live scream of paradise because I kind of feel like my overall feeling on paradise is, you know, there's a saying there's like putting a hat on a hat.

Like, you know, like where it's like they're kind of making fun of themselves, especially episode one, we see a lot of like self referential.

Like you may know me from this and it's like I have no memory of whatever they think I know them from they've like basically taken the 10 Instagram followers that respond to them to heart to for us to, you know, to, like, I mean, the first person they introduce is Hunter.

And she's like, remember I had IBS and you like, is this an SNL sketch about bachelor in paradise? Like I was like, I'm the one who shits her pants like, well, it's like, okay, like I have IBS too. I don't know what we're talking.

Yeah, it's really weird, but I just, I know that this will be like your second season of paradise and I just love talking about it with you last time because, you know, again, like you said, we are getting to know these characters.

Again, sometimes for the first time and already a ton of drama already.

Well, yeah, and I think, you know, the one thing that you've said and I think is completely true and correct and after all that is people, you know, go one way or the other on this show.

And, and right, you've always said that yeah, they they're you're you're going to paradise to repair your reputation or to ruin it.

Right. And you can kind of see the peak now. It's interesting because I kept that in mind throughout the whole episode. If I'm looking at overarching kind of themes, there were like two groups.

There was the one that came here to like fuck, you know, like they are there like just out of saying that. And then there's like another group who it felt like this was their interview to be the bachelor bachelor at like, I mean, there's a few characters here that we'll get into, but like it was like.

Almost some people are like my I a few of them have felt like they they figured out what they wanted their brand to be and they came here to establish that immediately.

Yeah. Yeah, they came with some sort of like, okay, this is who I like.

The we have to stop calling him Tarzan because I can never remember his name Jacob. Yeah, he's like leaning into this whole thing with I mean, what she did before.

But true. And and I Jacobs a good example because he doesn't have much else. He's one dimension. You know, I mean, not to be.

If Jacob's listening to this like I could just shot to the heart. But I I would say like Jacob like doesn't you know, to me, I even wrote this down.

This is Jacobs the guy that gets to into his Halloween costume because he has nothing else to say at the park.
