Summary

Jesse Palmer was a week too early hyping up the drama, but it finally arrived. We’ve waited what felt like years for said drama, and it did not disappoint. We got proposals, we got breakups, we even got cheating. After a long season of lackluster relationships, Gabby finally gets her ring and Rachel gets her time in the spotlight. For the grand finale, they announced the most cliché man as our next Bachelor – Zach! The announcement basically had Kay begging for a recount. Kay and Jared swap theories on what happened behind the scenes with Rachel and Tino, share ideas on who the next Bachelor should have been, and as always, play a round of would you rather, fantasy suites/hometowns/send home, and weekly awards. See you next week for the Bachelor in Paradise premiere! Follow @thebetchelor to stay up to date with all things Gabby and Rachel. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Hello and welcome to the Bachelor of Podcasts. I'm Kay York City.

And I am Jared Fried. Hey, how do we feel? Jesse Palmer wasn't lying. He was too, a

0:14.9

week too early. It was a week too early because this episode, a hands down, was the shit.

0:22.6

I love it. It was great. This is what it was all about. This was great. It had, honestly,

0:28.3

they could have combined last week and this week and made it the three hour finale. We could

0:33.5

have done without, you know, all the Zack time. I mean, they even went, they even had extra

0:39.2

time at the end. He, he, he like went back to interviewing Zack at the end, like to fill

0:44.1

the last minute. You could tell that they didn't time it right. They could have done

0:49.7

three hour finale last week. We could have had a week off before paradise. We would

0:53.9

have had everything we wanted. It would have been jam packed. You know, they, they get greedy.

0:58.8

You know, they, they wanted, they want the four hours or the five hour. No, they got,

1:04.1

they got really greedy. But as tough as it was to watch all of that happen, but it made

1:09.9

for great TV. And I feel like this is what we've been waiting for for the past like what,

1:13.0

20 years. Right. This is a, it was a lot of build up. They knew. I guess there is your

1:18.5

right. There is something to be said for like, we got a hot one. And we're going to really

1:26.3

lead up to it. And we're going to nod on the bone, so to speak, which they did. I mean,

1:33.9

and you know what? They had a willing participant in Rachel and Tina, both of them willing in

1:40.3

one way or another, which was, we'll get to later. But let's get into it. I mean, any

1:44.6

other overall thoughts? Just a wonderful episode. Fun. Great for us, the viewer. What do

1:52.4

you think? I think at the end with Zach being the bachelor. I mean, I've lot so many thoughts

1:58.9

on that. We can get into that. Yeah. I can't believe. But that was my main takeaway of

2:04.5

the end was that Zach was announced the bachelor. And I just, I can't believe that who asked
