both sides of the family refused to go to the wedding unless the other person would convert.

So neither one of them ever went, you know, back to church again.

It was like, okay, then we're done with y'all.

But she, because of her Mormon ancestors, knew her heritage. And I didn't know any of mine.

I had heard that the name Wallace came from Scotland, but that was it. And a cousin of mine had been in the

army and had visited Scotland, and he had come back with it.

He said there were Wallace's in Scotland.

So my wife was a dancer, amazing dancer, and she didn't really want to have children,

which we hadn't had that discussion, but I really wanted to have children, so we're trying to work that out.

And she loved to travel, and she said in her very sort of Irish way, okay, if you get me pregnant, you got to take me to Europe.

She's four months pregnant.

We go to London and we're just planning to go around Europe.

And I said, well, you know, while we're here, Scotland's not that far away.
