Summary

The Lakers upcoming December schedule is road heavy and unforgiving. Before that stretch, however, they face the Spurs twice, and then return home to face Indy and Portland. Mike and Darius discuss those next 4 games, how Patrick Beverley's suspension impacts the rotation for those games, and debate what type of record the team needs over that stretch. Then later they get into the importance of the December schedule and why LeBron's hoops IQ will play as much a part in his and the team's success as his individual production will.

And Darius, the way we wanted to start, though, was to look at this first, this four-game stretch. So it's the spurs twice, of course, then two home games that in terms of how the teams the Lakers will be playing have been playing are winnable games against Indiana, who is playing well, but that game's at home. And then against Portland, who may continue to be without Damien Lillard.

0:57.0

Right now, the Lakers are 5 and 11 before they play these two games against San Antonio.

1:01.8

So what would be a satisfied Darius Soriano perspective after these four games?

1:09.0

Not necessarily in terms of how they play, but just raw results, Darius, as they try to

1:15.0

get the record back up to closer and closer to 500.

1:19.3

Mike, you're talking my language with the raw results stuff.

1:22.2

Like the time for moral victories passed probably about a couple of weeks ago. And the standings are what they are.

1:29.5

I know that the Lakers aren't the only supposed team that wants to be doing better than what they are.

1:34.3

The Warriors are probably just like get it off my lawn when it comes to some of this stuff.
