Summary

Winners of four of their last five games, the Lakers are finding their rhythm as a team and it's showing up in multiple areas on both sides of the ball. Pete, Mike, and Darius discuss this idea, focusing on the team's improved shooting from beyond the arc, everyone's understanding of where their shots will come from offensively, and how this all relates back to the reps they're getting together and the level to which the team's stars are playing. Then later the guys discuss some areas that still need improving, particularly transition defense and how some of those struggles relate back to the style the Lakers play on offense.

I was pleased to see you smile at the top bar show because once the game starts, you have a game face.

The first one, LeBron, came back and had a clunky performance, had nine turnovers.

And there was a very notable Thomas Bryant DNP in that game that I think

we'll get around to at some point in terms of the broader conversation about the Lakers.

And then in a back-to-back situation, first time in, I think since 1965 under those exact

1:06.2

circumstances, they play San Antonio in a back-to-back. When that second game, AD does not play, and we certainly see how much the Lakers miss him.

But over the course of all of those games, guys, there was a phrase and a word that kept popping

up over and over.

1:21.6

And I noticed it first earlier in the season, Anthony Davis was talking about this in a lot of

1:25.7

his post-game pressers, talking about getting into a rhythm. And then LeBron was talking about this in a lot of his postgame pressers and talking about

1:27.6

getting into a rhythm. And then LeBron was talking about it after these two games over the weekend.

1:34.3

Dennis Schroeder is talking about it as well. And so we've won five out of six. God bless the

San Antonio Spurs. We got what we needed out of that week. But Mike, in the game the other

night, you were talking about this. You did a sideline hit about this as well. So I'd like to talk
