and we began this, begin this morning with the ongoing global ramifications of the Trump presidency

and the retribution he's vowing against those he views as personal

enemies for challenging him, opposing him, or trying to hold him to account. During a second year as

president, Donald Trump fulfilled a poorly informed campaign promise and unilaterally withdrew the

United States from the Iran nuclear agreement. There was a deal in which Iran agreed to restrict its nuclear program in exchange for gradual

sanctions relief.

Trump pulled out, imposing debilitating economic sanctions while vowing, as he typically

does, to negotiate a better deal, something he unsurprisingly failed to do.

Okay, fast forward to today. Iran is now Russia's main military ally in its inhumane war against Ukraine, with the two nations
