locked on chiefs podcast. And welcome back to another episode of locked on

chiefs. We talked a lot about the salary cap last week when I was here and I do want to get

back into a little bit more about talk about the salary cap and actually this new CBA agreement

that the players are going to be voting on in the coming weeks.

Right now it looks like it's possible that it's going to pass.

It also looks like there's a possibility. It's not going to pass.

What it really comes down to is the

players that are being the most vocal right now are those guys that are going to be

making the most money from the CBA and the new and the new CBA that would be coming out.

Those guys are mostly saying, those players are mostly saying that they don't think that this is a good enough deal for them.

Aaron Rogers has come out and said that he wants 50% of the NFL revenue

instead of 48%.

So he's not thinking they got enough and he's saying that a 17th game is a non-starter for him.

So you have players like that that are taking those types of stances.

So you really have to wonder, is it going to be something that's going to pass?

Right now you have, and I like the way that this is broken down by Jason OTC, who does a fantastic job at Over the Cap,

he started talking about how you have a lot of players that are in that 20 to 25 top players range on their team and those are the guys that are coming out and talking about this not

being a good situation for them to be signing this agreement for the owners

going into this next year. I don't know that it's going to pass. There are enough

people out, there are enough of the players that are coming out that are saying

that they're not going to vote for it. I don't know that it's going to pass. The owners aren't
