I have a very special guest today who I'll bring out of the green room in just a minute here.

We brought his wife onto the podcast a couple months back.

She told me a little bit about his background, and I reached out to him as well.

So we finally have Erica Nordfeld's husband, Brady, on the show to talk about his time working at BYU, Idaho in the admissions department for the 11 years that

he spent working at BYU, Idaho. So without further ado, welcome to the podcast, Brady.

All right. Thanks for having me, Scott. I'm excited to be here. And you introduced me perfectly,

Erica's husband. That's how I like to be known.

I mean, let me just first say, my wife is one of the most incredible human beings that I have had the privilege of knowing on this earth.

And I would gladly stand in the shadow of her brilliance any day.

Not that she requires that of me by any means, but she's a bright light in this world,

and I'm just happy to be on the journey with her. Yeah, she was an amazing guest, and the reason

I presented it like that is because she was on the show first, and she introduced me to you through

that. That's how I like it. Let's do a quick refresh on your life. When I talked to her,

she kind of focused on her growing up a little bit.

And then she talked a little bit about the faith crisis that you guys went through. But we didn't go too much into those details.

So as much or as little as you'd like to share about your background, we can start diving right into this.

Before we get into the bulk where we'll talk about working for BYU, Idaho. For sure, for sure. Yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, I was raised in the church, both parents

and grandparents and great-grandparents. In fact, my dad always kind of says that, so on my

mom's side, we're related directly to the first wife.
