This is entrepreneurs, the playbook. Just starting off, I was born into a family of six kids,

and I lived in a small town called Akron, Ohio.

It's a great place to be from.

I call it the armpit of the U.S.

born in the same hospital's eye. Obviously we had different nurses. No honestly I

think maybe eventually I'll be the NBA Commissioner.

That would be in the bloodline of being in the hospital.

I grew up with five boys and one girl and a single mom.

Some of you may have grown up with a single parent with not much money.

That pretty much describes how I grew up.

But I was happy.

And I have a great mom.

She was extraordinary.

And I didn't really understand that I didn't have less than other people,

even though we had a two bedroom apartment and my mom had to teach during the day

and then she bagged our dinners and we all would be in the car and then she'd take us to go fill up greeting cards at the 7-Elevens and convenience stores just so we had enough money to eat.

My mom wanted our older siblings to teach the younger siblings and her main thing was to be educated.

She's a big school person. I always called her a school snob.
