What I like to say is when you're dealing with a security, three things you need to worry about.

You either need to register that security with the SEC, or you need to find an exemption to that registration, or it's illegal.

It's that simple.

One of those three.

So I'm excited to talk a little about the legal piece around raising money and syndications

and because a lot of

people, you know, they run out of money quickly like I did and like we all do. And there's only

so much you can invest on your own. And then you go out to other people and there's a lot of laws

around it. So let's start with the SEC, the Security Exchange Commission. And because I think a lot of laws around it. So let's start with the SEC, the Security Exchange Commission.

Because I think a lot of people don't completely understand this piece.

And it's really important that all this is really buttoned up if you're going to take money from anybody at any time.
