0:00.0	So I want to talk about kids and raising kids and a girlfriend of mine, one of the
0:09.0	girlfriends I wrote about in my book, 3% Man.
0:12.0	I remember a story that he was telling me, and I later relayed this to Jennifer.
0:19.0	And the neighborhood where he raised his kids, eventually, obviously,
0:24.8	my future, girlfriend, one of the women that I wrote about my book, who was kind of like a mom
0:30.0	to everybody that has been a part of my work and who is one of the great loves of my life. And I still
0:36.2	loved it this day.
0:44.4	Back when she and her three older brothers were in high school, they were down at the end of the street.
0:45.1	They had a big bonfire going.
0:47.6	And it was like a Friday night.
0:48.8	They were drinking and hanging out.
0:50.5	And some of them were smoking, smoking cigarettes and maybe potentially some other things and he was a
0:57.8	state trooper and one of the neighbors came up and was like banging on his door was like
1:03.5	your kids are down at the end of the street they got a big fire going in there drinking beers
1:08.0	and they're getting drunk and they're loud and they're rowdy they're listening to the music and and he said it's Friday night I know where my kids are
1:18.7	where are your kids and she was she didn't really have much of an answer because quite frankly
1:27.4	she didn't know and much of an answer because quite frankly, she didn't know.
1:29.7	And your job as a parent is to lead by example.
1:35.7	And especially if your kids are entering adulthood and they're going to drink
1:40.4	or they're going to get involved with dancing with Mary Jane or other things.
1:47.0	Who is going to teach them?
1:49.8	Do you want to teach them?
