He joined my radio show on Monday, and I always like to bring a sound bite or two because well captain kirk is fantastic and always has

a lot of great knowledge. So he talked to me about why the Raiders are in the position that they're in, what he believes, why they need to stick with whatever plan that they have, whatever they see fit for this team, why they need to stick with that. We'll talk about that coming up in segment number two, and the decisions that this team has to make as they're sitting there at two and five. Here in segment number one, news and notes of the day, and really just has to do with the trade deadline and the constant conversation about Max Crosby. So off top, we've been talking a lot this week about Max Crosby after the report from

Trey Wingo came out talking about the Dallas Cowboys had inquired. And again, I say inquired in big capitals, capital letters, because again, that's what it is. It's not like they threw a trade offer out there. It's not like we heard a report of, oh, man, two ones and a player or a one in a player. None of that. They just inquire. They reach out and, you know, is there any chance to get Max Crosby out of there? And look, when the team is two and five

and a team feels like that they may be one player away, two players away, regardless of the fact that they had an edge rusher and let him get out of town, obviously they paid Michael Parsons a ton of money in Green Bay, and that wasn't the money Jerry Jones wanted to pay him. And not to mention that relationship was not very good. So I'm not surprised that they made the move. They sent Michael Parsons. They got Kenny Clark back. They got plenty of draft capital back and now they're looking for some defensive help. I think they will get some before the trade deadline comes and goes, but, which is November 4th, by the way. I don't think it's going to be Max Crosby.

Matter of fact, I feel very confident about that. And everybody that we hear a report from, including Trey Wingo, who put out the original tweet when he appeared on my radio show the same day, I heard from R.A. Mayrod from 33rd Team.com. He's got the NFL Spotlight Show. he does a really good job and he feels very confident that Max Crosby is going to be with the Raiders.

Trey Wingo. One of my first, fun story, one of my first ever jobs that I really did here when I

got at the 33rd team was interviewing Trey Wingo after he reported that Aaron Rogers was getting

traded from the Packers of the Jets. People remember he was actually the first one to report that

that we had him on the show to explain his reporting because everyone doubted him. Of course, it happened a few months later, but the agreement was actually happening. So he knows this stuff. He's been around the NFL for years and years, and you could say decades already, knows many people around the business. So no one's really doubting the reporting.

What I will say here is that the Raiders have been adamant and telling people that they are

not trading Max Crosby. Now, the report from Treuingo was the Dallas Cowboys are going to inquire
