Since the Silver and Black don't have a game to play this weekend, the coaching staff, the front office, have to decide what this team is going to be, who they want them to be, and stick with it.

0:10.7

We'll explain that plus more on Friday's edition of the Locked On Raiders podcast for October 24th, 2025.

As they're sitting there at 2 and 5 after seven weeks.

But we'll hear from you and... in. Well, the one guarantee that we have is the Raiders won't lose on Sunday, which is a good thing, right,

1:11.0

as they're sitting there at two and five after seven weeks. But we'll hear from you in segment number three. Segment number two, we'll hear from Kirk Morrison, long-time NFL linebacker, Raider linebacker, part of the broadcast team right now alongside Jason Horowitz. He joined my radio show on Monday, and I always like to bring a sound bite or two because well captain kirk is fantastic and always has

1:29.6

a lot of great knowledge. So he talked to me about why the Raiders are in the position that they're in, what he believes, why they need to stick with whatever plan that they have, whatever they see fit for this team, why they need to stick with that. We'll talk about that coming up in segment number two, and the decisions that this team has to make as they're sitting there at two and five. Here in segment number one, news and notes of the day, and really just has to do with the trade deadline and the constant conversation about Max Crosby. We'll jump into that after I tell you about the title sponsor of the show, which is Mazda. Like the players, they sweat every detail. When you make every move count, pulling off the unexpected is only the beginning.

2:03.6

Stay tuned later for tonight's highlights in this week's moving the game forward.

2:07.3

Mazda, move and be moved.

2:09.3

So off top, we've been talking a lot this week about Max Crosby after the report from

2:15.0

Trey Wingo came out talking about the Dallas Cowboys had inquired. And again, I say inquired in big capitals, capital letters, because again, that's what it is. It's not like they threw a trade offer out there. It's not like we heard a report of, oh, man, two ones and a player or a one in a player. None of that. They just inquire. They reach out and, you know, is there any chance to get Max Crosby out of there? And look, when the team is two and five

2:37.4

and a team feels like that they may be one player away, two players away, regardless of the fact that they had an edge rusher and let him get out of town, obviously they paid Michael Parsons a ton of money in Green Bay, and that wasn't the money Jerry Jones wanted to pay him. And not to mention that relationship was not very good. So I'm not surprised that they made the move. They sent Michael Parsons. They got Kenny Clark back. They got plenty of draft capital back and now they're looking for some defensive help. I think they will get some before the trade deadline comes and goes, but, which is November 4th, by the way. I don't think it's going to be Max Crosby.

3:08.3

Matter of fact, I feel very confident about that. And everybody that we hear a report from, including Trey Wingo, who put out the original tweet when he appeared on my radio show the same day, I heard from R.A. Mayrod from 33rd Team.com. He's got the NFL Spotlight Show. he does a really good job and he feels very confident that Max Crosby is going to be with the Raiders.

3:27.2

And then on his show, the NFL Spotlight Show, he actually talked about Max Crosby. And, you know, when he was asked, did he think he was going to be moving anywhere? A pretty lengthy, detailed answer right here from Ari Maw, from the 33rd.com, NFL Spotlight Show. Check it out. I don't really doubt

3:41.8

Trey Wingo. One of my first, fun story, one of my first ever jobs that I really did here when I

3:47.3

got at the 33rd team was interviewing Trey Wingo after he reported that Aaron Rogers was getting

3:53.5

traded from the Packers of the Jets. People remember he was actually the first one to report that

3:57.2

that we had him on the show to explain his reporting because everyone doubted him. Of course, it happened a few months later, but the agreement was actually happening. So he knows this stuff. He's been around the NFL for years and years, and you could say decades already, knows many people around the business. So no one's really doubting the reporting.

4:15.3

What I will say here is that the Raiders have been adamant and telling people that they are

4:20.0

not trading Max Crosby. Now, the report from Treuingo was the Dallas Cowboys are going to inquire
