| 1:33.8 | Segment number two, ESPN, Jeremy Fowler and company put together a list of 25 players that they think could be on the move before the November 4th trade deadline. |
| 2:20.8 | One or two have to do with the Raiders. A couple, they have the Raiders have interest in a few of the players. So we'll talk about all the different ones that they have on this list. And if there would be any interest by the Raiders or if we think there should be any interest by the Raiders, we'll do that in segment number two, kind of give you the percentages and the reasoning why these guys can be on the trade block. So we'll talk all things trade deadline, basically. Segment number two, here is seven number one, news and notes of the day, and really it's taking you inside the Raiders locker room. | 3:44.1 | And, you know, if you're tuning in and Thursday is your favorite show because we have crossover Thursday, well, we can't have crossover Thursday if there's no team to cross over. Right? So we'll be back with crossover Thursday next week with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Anthony Wiggins does a fantastic job. We call him Aunt Wigg. He does a great job. He's a barber, but he also covers the Jacksonville Jaguars like a glove. So always get an opportunity when I do catch up with him. It's fantastic. So look forward to that, but that'll be next week. But now I do want to take you inside the Raiders locker room. They practiced on Tuesday. They practiced on Wednesday. We had an opportunity to get in the locker room. If you listen to Wednesday's show, you heard Jacobi Myers had a really good conversation with him, his leadership. I think that that's a dude and a teammate that you always want to have in your locker room. What's going to happen with Jacoby? We'll find out sooner rather than later.. Just a hint, his name is on that list that Jeremy Fallett from ESPN put together the 25. So we'll talk about that segment number two. But really good stuff from him. I had a chance to catch up with Darian Porter one-on-one action on Wednesday. And it's funny, once the practice was over on Wednesday, we got into the locker room. These guys got dressed, boom, quick, and they were out of there. They had some fun real quick, played some pool, you know, talked a little trash, started making some plans, and they were out of there. So not too many guys wanted to talk. Max Crosby, we saw him, wanted to catch up with him, because obviously all the conversations going on around him, all he did is put up his hands, start walking away and say, I plead the fifth and kept it pushing. So there was that. |
| 5:07.8 | That's all he said, and I don't blame him, because as soon as one had talked to it, like if I had talked to him or Adam Hill, me and him and actually approached Max, then all of a sudden it would have been 10 or 15 members of the media, and they would have been around his locker for about 10 or 15 minutes. If we talked to Jacoby for 6 or 7 minutes, we would have talked to Max for 10 to 15 minutes. And so I don't blame them, especially when you know the whole conversation is going to be about trade, trade, trade. What did you think when you heard your name in the trade rumors? And look, Max here is his name in the trade rumors and speculation every year, right? One year is Green Bay, another year is Detroit. This year is Dallas, and I'm sure there's going to be other names that we'll hear. Other teams will hear before November 4th. But that's just that. I did get a chance to catch it with Darian Porter. Wanted to talk to him. I've been watching him, you know, ever since the Raiders drafted him in the third round out of Iowa State. Got a lot of burn early in training camp, got a lot of burn in the preseason early. And then all of a sudden, Cayu Blue Kelly came along and he came on strong and took the starting spot. I do believe coming out of the, you know, the biweek, the second half in theory of the season for the Raiders, I think you'll see a lot more from Darian Porter. So I want to start to really establish that relationship, let him be one of those guys that I can go to and talk to and just kind of pick his brain. And I'm a guy that really respects Iowa State football. So that's kind of something that we have in common. And, you know, it's easy to talk to him about that. Plus, you know, I know a lot about the cornerback position. I know how difficult it is. Remember, this is a young guy that has not been playing the position for a long time. |
| 5:39.4 | He was a wide receiver in college turned cornerback. So now he's with the Raiders. Now he's trying to find his way. He has the size. He has the speed to fit a prototypical Pete Carroll Corner. So on Wednesday, I had an opportunity to catch up with him in the Raiders locker room. Check it out. Here at Raiders quarterback, Darian Porter, and Darren, you guys just wrapped up your final practice for the by week and you guys are going to get a little bit time to kind of get away for football. What does that feel for you? Just, you know, seven games in. You know, it feels good to be able to, you know, come out, get to work a little bit, focus on us for a couple of practices. |
| 5:48.2 | Really dive in on what we need to improve upon, what's been working well, and kind of get back to the fundamentals before we have this next stretch of games. |
| 5:53.9 | How important is it to be able to get away, kind of clear your minds and then get ready for the second half of the season, in theory? |
| 6:08.9 | Yeah, I think it's good for everyone to step away for just a little bit, you know, just be able to kind of reset and, you know, come back, you know, because we got a long stretch of games. Right. You know, they're really important ones. So, you know, I think it's going to be good for everybody to get, you know, a little reset in. |
