Kirk Cousins to the show. Segment number three, a lot of great feedback on everything we've been talking about, especially NFL draft and the addition of Kirk Cousins to the roster. So we'll do that segment number three. Segment number two, I kind of went back and forth. I wasn't too sure if I wanted you to hear some NFL draft talk with myself and Matt Miller or the conversation I had with Westwood One on Easter Sunday, just talking all things silver and

1:11.1

black. And it's funny, man, how many interview requests I have right now that come in. So many

1:16.3

outlets, so many people want to do interviews talking about the Raiders. Again, the Raiders are

1:21.2

doing a lot of really good, I believe, this offseason. I think we talked about it in great detail.

1:26.7

A lot of people from the outside are looking, saying,

1:28.9

okay, I see what they're doing. And obviously, we all know what they're going to do coming up at the end of April, selecting Fernando Mendoza, number one overall. So I decided on Matt Miller. We can do the Westwood one conversation, Westwood One conversation, maybe a little bit later on this week. but a little bit more NFL draft talk we'll do in segment number two

1:46.1

talk about a few players on the defensive side of things and also the wide receiver class and how deep it really is. So you'll hear that coming up. Segment number two of today's Lockdown Raiders podcast. Here is segment number one, just news and notes of the day. We'll go ahead and jump into that after I tell you about the title sponsor of this show, and that's Fandul. Right now, new customers can bet just $5 and get $250 in bonus bets if your first bet wins. Head to fandole.com to get started today. So on Friday, we found out from the NFL about the offseason workout program dates for all 32 teams. And yeah, trust and believe the NFL is a machine. There's always something going on. There's a small window of time where it's really kind of quiet. That's the end of June and early July. And that's always when I traditionally go on vacation. The one week that I traditionally go on vacation is that time because that's when it's the quietest. I feel like I'm not going to miss very much. So you get out, go on vacation,

2:39.2

decompress a little bit, get your batteries recharge and get ready to rock and roll. Well, for the Raiders, their off-season workout program actually starts tomorrow. So here we go.

2:44.0

Let me go ahead and break it down. The first day of the off-season workout programs, again,

2:47.7

is April 7th. Now remember, phase one consists of the first two weeks of the

2:51.3

programs with activities limited meetings, straight to conditioning, and physical rehab only. So

2:56.3

they're not out there on the grass. They're not installing the offense. You know, they're not going

3:00.1

seven on seven. They're not, you know, doing offensive line drills. They're not doing any of that.

3:04.7

That's all indoors, right? It's all just meetings, straightened conditioning, and physical rehab. But that will be going on coming up tomorrow at the Intermountain Health Performance Center. Just to think that it's already that time of year, and there's going to be some activities going on. So that's April 7th, that's tomorrow. Voluntary minicamp, April 20th through 22nd.
