Segment number two, going to talk about that press conference that GM John Spitek had on

Monday afternoon and what my biggest takeaways were from it

and how I feel like that this organization can and will move forward into the future into

2026 and beyond with GM John Spitech and also with Tom Brady, not head coach, but

minority owner Tom Brady. We'll explain that, talk about that all in segment number two. Here in segment number one, news and notes of the day, we'll just go ahead and jump right into it, and it became official pretty early on Monday. One, we all kind of anticipated it was going to happen. It was on Monday show. I had talked about it at some point, depending on when you're listening to the show,

Pete Carroll may already be on his way out. I didn't know how they were going to word it. I didn't know if it was going to be retirement, mutually part ways, or flat out fire. And I didn't think that they were going to flat out fire him. But I also understand that by the language and the way that you put it is based off how much money the head coach is going to get. So if they decided to,

or he decided to retire, agree to that, or mutually part ways, I'm sure he wouldn't get his full contract. He had a three-year deal. He gets that money that was on his contract that was still

remaining by being fired. So the Raiders put out a statement pretty early on Monday. The Raiders

have relieved Pete Carroll of his duties.

His head coach, we appreciate and wish him and his family all the best.

Moving forward, General Manager John Spitech will lead all football operations and close collaboration with Tom Brady,

including the search for the club's next head coach.

Together they will guide football decision with a shared focus on leadership, culture,

and alignment with the organization's long-term vision and goals.
