They haven't all gone away, you know. Kirstama got into more hot water over the weekend, because not only does it turn out that he gets his suits made to measure by Lord Wahid Ali, but his wife also gets a little

bit of help in the dressing department, because he bought her some clothes as well. Absolutely shocking.

As a result, when he goes out now, Kirstama, I'm afraid, doesn't get the reception he's looking

for in Britain.

trying to justify why Keir Starman needs somebody else to buy his clothes for him.

I also recognise that in our country,

there isn't a budget for the Prime Minister's clothes or his wife's clothes.

In some countries, there's a substantial budget.

I've just come back from America where there is a substantial budget to ensure that the US president and the First Lady, their appearance, can never be challenged.

That is not the case in our country.

Yes. Unfortunately, David Lamy was wrong about America because, of course, there is no clothing allowance for the president, nor indeed is there one for the First Lady. But there we are.
