Yeah, hi everyone. Today we're back with our new episode about Aegon Targaryans conquest of Westeros, which we set out to write

about two episodes back, only to find we couldn't discuss the Targaryan conquest of Westeros

without explaining how they came to be living on Dragonstone in the first place.

And that led to an episode all about the Doom of Valeria and the Targaryan migration to the edges of Westeros.

And now with this episode, which does stand alone, we will cover the conquest itself.

All the battles fought and the kings who fought and burned and died defiantly as well as those who knelt or flew and a single princess whose resistance led to the conquest being incomplete.

We left off last time at the moment Viseña Targaryan placed a crown upon her brother's

head at the new Aegon fort at the mouth of the Blackwater Rush. And so, after a brief recap of the lay of the land in the seven kingdoms,

we'll pick up the action when Aegon's first three-pronged campaign set out from the Crownlands.
