Hello and welcome to another episode of Radio Estos. I'm Lady Guinevere and with me today as ever is Yopoy. Yeah, hi there everyone and thanks so much for joining us. We have a packed episode this time as we're doing a deep dive into

the rains of the last three Targarian Kings. Aegon the fifth, Jehary's the second and Aries

the second. Yeah we all know about Egon the 5th, the unlikely king who first crossed our pages as

Egg, the equally unlikely side kick to the hedge knight Sir Duncan the tall. the

story of how he became king in the tall. The story of how he became king in the decline of House Targarian under his descendants

is both fascinating and informative of many things we encounter in the main series.

Here we're going to look at each of their reigns and the major events that occurred

while keeping our focus on dragon dreams, prophecies and the Blackfire issue

and how all of these things combined to affect each rain in turn.

And one thing to note when we get to Aries II, we will be skirting over some major

events while maintaining our focus on those themes because we plan to bring you a dedicated episode all about the year of the fall

spring later this year that will cover the events of the year 281 and the War of the Userper.

And so we'll begin today with a short and the War of the Userper.

And so we'll begin today with a short segment called Y3 Kings in which we'll define our focus

and the questions we'll be looking to answer before launching intersections on the individual kings and their reigns.
