where we'll be diving deep into the prologue of a storm of swords.

I'm Lady Goynevere and with me today is Yoke Boy.

Yeah, hi, this prologue revolving around the POV of Chet is set up in earlier books.

So we'll begin by analyzing Chet's early appearances, evaluating what can be gleaned about his role in the story

going into his prologue. We'll also focus on his early life where much can be

learned about his character.

Then we'll have a full walkthrough of the chapter itself,

which takes place on the fist of the First Men.

Expect a thorough look at the prologue with its mysteries, themes, and plot points given close inspection.

Next we'll take a detour from the story of Chet himself and examine the surroundings.

The fist of the first men is an historic fortification north of the wall and we'll be discussing this setting.

And from there we'll segue back to the climactic events of the chapter.

And finally we'll consider the aftermath of Cheats prologue,

tracking him and his band of mutineers beyond the chapter

and considering Cheats actions with a broader lens.
