Let's talk Michigan football. Welcome to this week's edition of the Inside Michigan Football Radio show. Over the next hour, we're discussing the latest around Wolverines

football and hearing from players and coaches. Now, here's your host, John Jansen. Well, Michigan

comes home from Happy Valley, and that is a great description, very happy after an emotional and

exciting win, 21 to 17 over the Nittany Lions.

Just a little bit of a running total throughout the season.

U of M ranks top 30 nationally in six offensive categories.

Total offense, scoring offense, red zone offense, rushing offense,

sacks allowed, tackles for loss allowed.

It's been a dominant performance and all

centered around that offensive line. The backbone of those latter three, they've yielded only 23

total tackles for lost and just eight sacks throughout the course of this football season. Hassan

Haskins has had four 100-yard performances in the last five weeks,

and we all got a chance to witness the 150-plus-yard performance he had in the last two games.

He's only 15 yards shy of 1,000 yards.

Probably going to get that in the first drive against Maryland.

We'll all celebrate that moment.

But the defense also ranks top 30 in eight categories.

Sacks, rushing defense, third down conversion rate, past defense, pass efficiency,

scoring defense.
