Now here are your hosts, Brian Bush and Terry Mills. Inside Michigan Basketball is back. We are here for our first 2026 edition after a little holiday break and then the

women playing last Monday, the men playing two Mondays ago. Great to be back with you and we will be

each and every Monday through hopefully Terry Mills late March, maybe even into April with what

these two programs are doing. Terry, obviously not what we wanted to see from the men on Saturday.

First loss of the season.

How can Michigan grow from that?

Well, it's going to be a quick turnaround.

I mean, for one, you can't feel sorry for yourself.

You've got to collectively come together as a group, hang in there, and find a way to get a win.

Understand that, you know, every person, every team that

that you play, you're to hunt it right now. So, I mean, you've got to understand that. You're going

to get teams going to give you their best shot. I think Michigan has seen that. And now you've got

to bring it all back together. Unique aspect with the way the Big Ten is now where every year Michigan will have a road

trip like they will embark on here this week at Washington on Wednesday, at Oregon on Saturday.

It kind of feels like because of that, as we'll talk about with Coach May here in a few

minutes, the fact that he felt like the practice habits haven't quite been where they needed to be

might be a welcome opportunity to get on the road and

have all the only thing you've got are your teammates and your coaches yeah yeah it's growth i mean

when you you got to be able to come together on the road like that uh you're going to spend time with

nothing but your teammates this is not being in los Vegas or anything like that you're in the

conference and uh you just really
