Chris, welcome. How are you? I'm doing well, man. Thank you for you guys for having me on.

It's always exciting to get to talk to you guys.

Right back at you. So with the suspension of head coach Juan Howard, Phil Martelli, of course, moved up to the acting head coach spot.

And that garnered a lot of the attention, but it needed. You stepped up. I know it's not the circumstance that you

wanted it to happen, of course, but for these five games, the first two and three this week,

I have to imagine that it's got to be an exciting opportunity when you just consider, hey,

there's nothing we can do about the past. Here I am. Let's try to make the future as good as we

can. Yeah, most definitely,

obviously unique circumstances and you're always excited about an opportunity when you say

assistant coaches, the University of Michigan being an alum. That's exciting. So you just try to stay

prepared, put your best foot forward and help our coaching staff, which we have a great coaching

staff and our student athletes, be in the best position to win games

day in the day out.

So that's what I'm trying to do, not trying to reinvent the will, but just, you know, come

in and help where I can and do what I need to do.

Yeah, we have a thing I'm saying here at Michigan about sudden change and sudden change kind of accounts for you in my opinion because there's not too

much you can't do I mean you've you've got every title in the world and you're talking about a sudden

change as you being an assistant coach just kind of talk about you know I always see I'd say you

prepared because you break down film you you do this, you do that.

What was the major change, just moving that seat?

Yeah, moving to the front row.

Probably the biggest change, seeing a game from that angle.
