Back here on Inside Michigan Basketball after a great weekend at Chrysler Center. We start with the

Saturday victory for the

Michigan men's program against UCLA, and we're great to have Dusty May with us. Let's just start

kind of broad what you saw, especially in that second half where it did seem like, I think

Namari Burnett said that the communication was maybe at the level that they experienced in

Las Vegas.

How did that second half come together like it did?

A number of things like everything else.

There's a reaction that causes a reaction.

And once we got a couple of shots to go in, I think we settled in offensively.

And then on the defensive

end, we took away their tendencies much better than we did in the first half. In the first half,

we let Dent get to his right hand on several occasions. Once we defended them well, it seemed like

for the first eight or ten minutes, they almost scrapped their original game plan and went to

hunting matchups and trying to just break

us down and drive us one-on-one.

And we didn't have great gap support.

We didn't have great awareness to who was where and what situations.

And the second half, I thought it was much improved.

So I would chalk it up as what agreeing with Namari, the communication and and also the concentration seemed much improved. Yeah, I talked with Coach Drew at the half, and he said, just simple. They're playing harder than us. He said, I can't make it any other way. And then I had a chance to talk with Namari after the game, and he said, yes, that's what was addressed at halftime.
