It is postseason time for Michigan men's and women's basketball,

and we welcome you into inside Michigan basketball.

We've got plenty of discussion about both of these two teams' quests to win a Big Ten tournament championship.

The men and the women both double-bys.

Joanne Howard's Club, the number

one seat after the regular season Big Ten Championship. They'll face either Maryland or Michigan State

on Friday at 1130 in Indianapolis. The women earn the four seed. They'll take on either the five-seed

Northwestern or one of Illinois or Wisconsin if they can make a Cinderella run

from that 12-13 game on Tuesday. Terry Mills, of course, Sunday was a tough one for the men's basketball

team, and Eli Brooks left the game. Joan Howard and his media availability earlier today,

provided no update he had not heard yet about what Eli

Brooks' status is. So we will continue to wait and hope that he will be okay for Friday and beyond.

Your impressions of what you saw on Sunday and also of what Eli's potential uncertainty means

for Michigan moving forward. Well, what Eli is, I mean, Eli is that glue guy for Michigan.

He gives Michigan a calm about themselves when things are not going well.

He was greatly missed, you know, going forward.

It's always that mentality of next man up.

I thought Zeb Jackson got in and gave some solid minutes and he may be caught up on some

more and, you know, we're not going to speculate, but we're hoping that he'll be back and be healthy
