Summary

If you’re reexamining your life right now, you’re not alone. We’re taking stock of what we like and what we would like to change. But with change, no matter how positive, can often come fear. Fear of not knowing what the end result will be. This week, try to maintain a spirit of exploration. Try something new for the sake of doing it, not to reach a final outcome.  Want more Andy? Hey everyone, it's Dora here. I just want to let you know that we've launched a brand new

call and advice podcast called Dear Headspace. Each week the headspace teachers along with

some amazing new friends are answering your questions about relationships, work, life,

on the Headspace app and anywhere you listen to podcasts. Thanks for listening.

trying something different, about trying something new. And I think so often in life, we don't

1:25.4

necessarily follow through with the things that we would like to do because we're worried

1:30.7

about the outcome, because we're worried about how it might be experienced by ourselves

1:36.2

or perceived by others. In fact, people often ask me, you know, when you went off to become

1:40.8

a monk, what were you thinking? That's probably the point, I don't think I was thinking.

1:46.4

And of course, there are times when it's really important that we do think ahead, but there

1:51.1

are other times when we tend to overthink things. I'm always reminded of a particular teacher

1:58.0

at circus school. And yet you heard that right, circus school. So after the monastery,

2:03.6

I did a degree in circus arts. And as part of that training, we used to have to do sort
