Un answered prayers now what do I mean Tonight's episode, Unanswered Prayers.

Now what do I mean when I say unanswered prayers?

From a Mormon perspective, even the title of this podcast

is Anathema. It is a hard pill to swallow, that there could possibly

be such a thing as a prayer that goes unanswered, at least within the LDS framework.

Let me take a minute to focus the issue a little more narrowly.

There are a number of reasons that a prayer can go unanswered first off if it is prayed for by someone outside the LDS faith.

People outside the LDS faith do not have the required connection with deity in order to

pray with power in order to pray in order to pray in

in order to pray in such a way as to have their prayers answered.

And even within the LDS Church,

there are people who are perhaps not following the Commandments commandments who are not faithful in their

callings who are not doing everything that they are supposed to do.

When such people pray and do not get an answer to their prayers,

well the solution is obvious they are not putting themselves in a position, a favor with God such that he will respond to their prayers regardless of how earnest they may be.

And even if a person is righteous,

if I may use that expression,

even if a person is righteous,

and prays for something that is perhaps not a righteous desire

and something that is not in accord with God's will then that prayer
