Hello, good evening and welcome to the Anfield

App on Radio City Talk.

We'll be here from now right the way through until half past seven,

taking a look at all the

goings on with Liverpool Football Club. Specifically tonight the striker

situation and also the rejiggin of the midfield which seems to be happening

this summer. We'll also have a couple of separate segments

firstly with John Gibbons on the Art of Football exhibition which is taking place

throughout the World Cup in various venues in the city of Liverpool and then also

an interview with Emmy Anura, the author of Pitch Black, the story of Black British

Footballers, but before all that, we're in the studio, I am Dan Austin and I've got Andy Heaton and

Adam Smith with me.

And we're going to do striker chat.

And it's pressing at the minute at him

because this week, Ream Brewster assigned a new contract.

He's turned down the over chores of Perushi Munching Gladbach

and seemingly a few of the German teams.

You'd imagine that he's being promised games in order to sign that Liverpool contract.

The Nable for Kia deal might be dead, it might not be be but it certainly seems like

Liverpool I'm going to sign him imminently and he did come on and play up front

for the French in the World Cup the other night.
