they've got a perfect backstory and actually you're quite often not included in that.

Tell us a bit about your upbringing and what it was like.

I suppose I've had a fairly mixed background and you can interpret my background in different ways.

On the one hand I was born into a fairly privileged middle class background in Guilford.

My father was a lawyer and my mother had trained to be a teacher.

And then when I was seven and my brother was five and my other brother was three, my father left and he disappeared.

And we suddenly't have any money. And I remember that you really didn't have any money.

We didn't have any money at all.

And so it was really hard for my mom,

because she had these three little children and she was,

I don't think she was even 30 by that stage, you know?
