But today, B.R. Football has released a discussion that we thought was important to share with the Rank Squad, given the statements and commitments we made a few weeks back to continuing to do our part in driving

racism from football and society. It features our friends, our colleagues and some of our

heroes as well, talking about racism and the Black Lives Matter movement in relation to football

and beyond. Hosted by Kate Abdo, the conversation features the USMNT and Shalke's Western

McKenney, World

Cup winning USWNT star Crystal Dunn, and former players and B.R. Broadcasters, Tim Howard

and Moedoo talking about the experiences they've had in the game and further afield.

So without further ado, over to Kate.

Okay, welcome along everybody. Listen, we are putting this together at a time that there

have been days of marches across the world in response to the death of George Floyd, at a time when

a spotlight has really been shone upon racism, discrimination, and at a time when large sections of

society are really now waking up to the injustices that the black community faces. To me,

it feels like there's a real push and an opportunity here to create change in the worlds that we

all move in and our world personally, of course, is football. Football is the most global,

most multicultural sport that exists. All of us who love football have definitely heard

the talk about the power of the game to unite. Unfortunately, what we've also seen and

lived is its absolute failure to do that at times. We see racism in the stands, a lack of leadership

and support in those moments, an insufficient reaction from governing bodies as well, a lack of

representation in boardrooms and coaching and media. And the list really does go on. What we want
