And this is Jasmine Singer.

And on this week's show, which we are super excited about, Jasmine will be joined by Christopher Sebastian, who was a writer and commentator on our very,

very skewed relationships with animals from a particular viewpoint that emphasizes racial,

sexual, and political identity. And he is just a fascinating person. Yeah, I really loved this

interview so much. And I realize I say that a lot, but this was particularly

special. And I love that it's airing around pride because we do get into some issues relating

to LGBTQ stuff. By the way, speaking of which, I have a talk coming up on June 14th that we will

link to in the show notes. It is virtual. It is free. And it is part of the

Compassion Consortium, which is partly led by Victoria Moran. This is a talk on LGBTQ activism and

animal rights and where the connections are for me. So I hope you can make that.

So before we get to our interview with Christopher,

in which he does a much better job of explaining those connections than I do,

I wanted to briefly check in with you because you have this show that you can't stop talking about.

And I figured if you're going to subject me to your constant talking about it,

you might as well subject everyone to it. Tell us about it. Well, it's a little bit of an

exaggeration because I only just found the show today. And some of you are probably watching. And a lot

of you are probably familiar with the dodo and follow it on Instagram. You know, it's all like

feel good stories about animals.

If you're not following it and you want to feel good, I highly recommend it.
