I serve a church in the Pacific Northwest, but I'm back in New England at my Connecticut house today. And I'm just looking outside at rain. Although in New England, even a rainy day in the spring is a pleasant thing. I'm looking out seeing the greenery, the new leaves,

and all that. It's great. New England really is hard to beat late May and June. But anyway, enough of that.

I've written a number of things. One of those things is in the house of Tom Bommodil, so that's enough for me.

Birds are singing, even if it's raining. I heard some, I heard woodpeckers today. You never hear

woodpeckers out west. They're everywhere around here. I teach theology, Christian ethics, and philosophy.

One of the places is Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.

Yeah, I'm Glenn Sunshine.

I am not in Connecticut.

I am a retired history professor from Central Connecticut State University.

You escaped.

You escaped.

And here in Indiana, where I am now, we are between rainstorms.

But, yeah, I'm a senior fellow at the Colson Center for Christian Worldview.

I have my own ministry, every square inch ministries at eSquareange.org, where I do freelance teaching, as well as writing and video courses.

And, yeah, a bunch of other things.

So, in a bid to decrease our audience, I was talking to a guy in our church.

He's actually a law student at Notre Dame.

And he actually asked if we would consider doing a program on something that really concerns him, that he worries about, and he's right to worry about it.

It's the idea of racial essentialism, which I'm going to need to define in a minute.
